Start an Online Business in 30 Days
August 12, 2026 · 7 min read

Most online businesses stall in the planning phase. The fix is a deadline: one month to a first paying customer, using tools you can cancel at any time.
Week one is research. Choose an audience you already understand and list the problems they pay to solve today. Week two is the offer — one product or service, one price, one clear promise. Resist the urge to launch a catalog.
Week three you build the smallest storefront that can take money: a single page describing the offer, proof that you can deliver, and checkout. Week four is outreach. Talk to twenty people who match your audience and ask directly if the offer is useful.
After the first sale, everything changes — you are optimizing something real instead of imagining a business. Reinvest early revenue into whatever created it: better photos, faster fulfillment, or simply more conversations.
